Miracles was a TV series that ran on ABC in the 2003 season.
Paul Callan (Skeet Ulrich) investigates miracles, but is beginning to question his faith in God when nothing he sees provides proof of the divine. Something happens that changes that, and Paul becomes involved with Alva Keel (whose name at least was inspired by real-life author John A. Keel . . . the A stands for Alva). Keel is portrayed by Angus Macfadyen. Keel doesn't just look at random paranormal events, but is aware of a connecting thread in several of the reports.
The story that develops through the series can be unnerving for some, although the show is recognized as being well written and acted.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
