Mili Avital (March 30, 1972 in Jerusalem, Israel) is an Israeli actress who gained international attention for her role as Sha'uri in the Stargate (movie). Raised in Tel Aviv, Avital began her career on the Israeli stage at the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv. While working as a waitress, she was discovered by an agent and landed the role of Shau'ri in the Roland Emmeric film. She went on to star opposite Johnny Depp in the 1995 film Dead Man and the films Minotaur and Polish Wedding. Other notable roles include the 1998 romantic comedy, Kissing a Fool, The 2000 miniseries Arabian Nights, Uprising with Leelee Sobieski and Hank Azaria, a guest appearance on the short-lived series Haunted, The Human Stain with Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins, and When Do We Eat.
