Miles Malleson (May 25, 1888 – March 15, 1969) British playwright, screenwriter and character actor since the 1930s. He scripted and appeared as the Sultan in The Thief of Bagdad (1940) and has scene-stealing cameos in Dead of Night (1945), The Man in the White Suit (1951), Peeping Tom (1960), First Men in the Moon (1964) and Hammer’s Dracula (aka Horror of Dracula, 1958), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959), The Brides of Dracula (1960) and The Phantom of the Opera (1962).
