<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Micky Dolenz (March 8, 1945 Los Angeles, California - ) is an American actor, voice artist, composer, director, producer, screenwriter and singer.

Best-known for his second TV series (Circus Boy was his first), the drummer of the Monkees has had extensive involvement with Sci Fi works.

While the Monkees had its fantasy sequences (including the pre-fab four as flying superheroes with a George Barris designed Monkee-mobile, Dolenz voice work has placed him solidly in the genre. As the Tick's sidekick Arthur in the cult favorite cartoon series, or as both Min and Max in Batman: The Animated Series, Dolenz has shown the vocal variety he sometimes displayed on the Monkees series.

He directed several episodes of the British Sci Fi comedy, Luna (with Patsy Kensit), a series he also produced and for which he wrote several episodes.
