Michel Courtemanche (December 11, 1964 Laval, Montreal, Canada - ) is a French Canadian actor and comedian. His one-man shows have drawn hundreds of thousands to sell-out performances in Canada, France, Belgium, and Switzerland. He starred as Jean Passepartout on The Sci Fi Channel's 2001 series, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, which was his first TV series.
His debut one-man show, A New Comic is Born, ran for more than 500 performances and earned him two Felix Award nominations. His second, The New Adventures of Michel Courtemanche, filled theaters in both North America and Europe and spawned his second international hit video. His first home video sold more than a hundred and twenty-five thousand copies.
