Michael Trucco (b. June 22, 1970) is an American actor from San Mateo, California. Trucco attended Junipero Serra High School where he focused on theatre. He later attended the University of Santa Clara where he studied sociology and criminal justice before being encouraged to pursue theatre by his parents. Trucco changed his focus to theatre after trying a course for non-majors and graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts. He participated in theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area for a year before moving to Los Angeles. He performed in theatre in Los Angeles starring in A Few Good Men which landed him a talent manager.

Trucco began appearing on television in the late 90s on series such as Silk Stalkings, Touched by an Angel, Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210. In 1998, he began appearing on the series Pensacola: Wings of Gold as Lt. Tucker Henry. He played the role until the series ended in 2000. Trucco is perhaps best known to genre fans as Samuel Anders on the Sci Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica. Other genre appearances include the film Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled, Tru Calling, and the film Next.
