Michael Moriarty (April 5, 1941 Detroit, Michigan - ) is an American actor.

A character actor with more than 35 years in the business, Moriarty may be best known to mainstream fans as D.A. Ben Stone on the original Law & Order.

He was a regular on Dan Aykroyd's PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal as Michael Kelley. He has guested on many Sci Fi TV series, from Poltergeist: The Legacy to The 4400.

His big screen genre career has included Q, Troll, A Return to Salem's Lot, and It's Alive III: Island of the Alive.
