Michael Clarke Duncan (b. December 10, 1957, Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor known for his work as well as his Oscar-nominated performance in his breakout role as John Coffey in The Green Mile. Duncan's intimidating stature and commanding voice has lead to work as prominent figures in the films Planet of the Apes, The Scorpion King, and Daredevil.
