Merritt Butrick (September 3, 1959 Gainesville, Florida - March 17, 1989) was an American actor.

He is best known to genre fans as Dr. David Marcus, son of Captain James T. Kirk, in the second and third Star Trek movies. He returned to the Trekverse in Star Trek: The Next Generation as T'Jon.

Butrick also appeared in the Scott Baio/Willie Aames telekinesis comedy, Zapped.
