Megalodon is a presumed extinct shark. Its name means Big Tooth. It grew to be 50-75 feet long. Some scientists think they could grow to be 100 or more feet long. Megalodon was about 50 tons. They fed on whales and the basic shark diet. They ate whales by attacking like a great white on a seal..except it's 3 times larger and the seal is a whale. In 1918, 2 men saw a large white shark gobbling up there cray-fish pots. If a shark that big ate whales think how big its teeth would be. Megalodon ate T.rex and his dino buddies for breakfast. I saw a picture of a tooth and it was taller than a 5 foot tall woman. Most scientists believe that Megalodon is the ancestor of the Great White. Recently in Japan, they sent a team to document the life close to the Mariana Trench. They had a small bait. At first they saw a couple of small sharks. Then, they saw a shark over 36 metres. That's 108 feet long! Recently they have been making Megalodon movies and documents featuring them like walking (more like swimming) with Sea Monsters. Megalodon teeth have been found all over the world. Meaning if it is still alive, it LIVES EVERYWHERE! 5% of the oceans were explored, there's a chance marine cryptids could be out there.
