Meet the Robinsons is a 2007 Disney animated film based on the William Joyce book A Day with Wilbur Robinson. The film is directed by Stephen J. Anderson with the screenplay from Michelle Bochner. Meet the Robinsons opens in theaters on March 30, 2007.

Plot

An orphan and genius, Lewis, dreams of having a family and invents a a memory scanner he hopes will help him find his birth mother so they can be a real family. Unfortunately, his invention is stolen by the villain, Bowler Hat Guy and his sidekick Doris. Young Wilbur Robinson, comes to Lewis' aid with a time machine and the two track down the villains, save the future and learn more about the mysterious Robinson family.
