Max Grodénchik (b. November 12, 1966, Queens, New York) is an American actor best known for his role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Rom. Grodénchik auditioned for the role of the character Quark but landed the role as his less shrewed brother Rom. Grodénchik previously appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation as different characters. His other genre contributions include Rumpelstiltskin in the title role, Sliders, and a minor appearance in the movie Bruce Almighty.
