Maury Parkman is a fictional character on the series Heroes and the father of Matt Parkman.

Maury abandoned his son when Matt was only thirteen years old. He is one of the twelve founders of the Company. Like his son, Maury has telepathic abilities which he has refined into mind control and dream manipulation. He is able to alter people's perceptions of reality and force them to commit acts against their will. He can also trap people in their nightmares as he did to Molly Walker when she attempted to find him which resulted in her falling into a comatose state. Molly was ultimately rescued by Matt using his own abilities.

When Matt and Nathan Petrelli visited Maury's Pennsylvania apartment, Maury trapped the two in nightmares that tricked them into fighting each other. Only Matt's own abilities saved the two from harming each other. ("Fight or Flight")

Maury fell in line with Adam Monroe's philosophies, believing that people like them were superior and that the world was in need of healing even if the mans is genocide. Adam assigned Maury to murder Angela Petrelli and Bob Bishop. Neither attempt was successful as Matt interrupted both. His attempt on Bob was his final act as Matt was able to use his abilities to rescue Molly from Maury's nightmare place and trapped him in his own mind. Maury is incarcerated in a company facility and comatose. ("Out of Time")
