Matthew Robbins is a director and screenwriter who has worked on several notable genre films. Robbins began his screenwriting career working with Steven Spielberg on The Sugarland Express. He made his directorial debut with Corvette Summer in 1978. Robbins also worked on Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Dragonslayer, Warning Sign, *batteries not included and Mimic.
