Mary Rodgers

Mary Rodgers (born January 11, 1931 New York City, New York - ) is an American author and musical composer and the daughter of Broadway composer, Richard Rodgers. Her musical work includes Once Upon a Mattress, a musical based on the folktale of The Princess and the Pea', The Mad Show, and Working. Rodgers is probably best known for penning the novel Freaky Friday. Her other novels include Summer Switch, A Billion for Boris, and The Rotten Book.
