Maria Bello (b. April 18, 1967, Norristown, Pennsylvania) is a Golden Globe-nominated American actress known for her roles in such films as A History of Violence, Secret Winfow and The Cooler. Bello made her film debut in the independent film Maintenance Man. She went on to roles on the medical drama ER as Dr. Anna Del Amico from 1997 to 1998, and the short-lived series Mr. & Mrs. Smith in which she played the title female role.

Bello made her genre film debut in the 2005 horror film The Dark. In 2008, she took over the role of Evelyn Carnahan O'Connell from Rachel Weisz in the third Mummy movie The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor .
