Though initially suspicious of Sharon's activities on the Cylon vessel, Racetrack ignored them until they returned to Galactica and she witnessed Sharon's attempted assassination of Commander Adama. Following the devastating attack, she revealed that Boomer returned to the Raptor without her helmet and likely revealed their location to the Cylons ("Scattered")
Racetrack piloted a Raptor on a search and rescue mission to Kobol. She targeted and destroyed Cylon Centurions and rescued Galactica's crewmen including Galen Tyrol, Cally Henderson, and Gaius Baltar. ("Fragged")
In "Final Cut", Racetrack was interviewed by D'Anna Biers. She revealed that when she goes on missions she assumes she's already dead, thereby enabling her to do her job without being weighted down by fear. She only hopes to kill as many Cylons as she can until that day arrives.
While serving as ECO on a resuce mission back to Caprica in "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2", Racetrack and her pilot jumped to the wrong coordinates and discovered a habitable planet which would later be named New Caprica. When the human survivors settled on the planet, Racetrack chose to remain with the fleet. She later participated in the rescue of the colonists from the planet.
Following the combination of Galactica and Pegasus's crew, Racetrack served as Sharon Agathon's ECO. The two went on a recon mission to the Lion's Head nebula where they discovered a deserted Cylon base star infected with a disease fatal to Cylons. She returned to piloting, helping to escort the fleet through a dangerous star cluster. Later, Racetrack and Eco Hamish McCall were forced to eject from their Raptor when impurities in its fuel resulted in a malfunction. The vessel collided with Colonial One with only moderate damage. ("Dirty Hands)
On another mission, Racetrack and Skulls were sent on a mission, one jump point behind the fleet, to watch out for Cylon activity. Twelve hours passed before they picked up the Cylons and they barely escaped when the Cylons fired. ("Crossroads, Part 2").
