Mantan Moreland (September 3, 1902 – September 28, 1973) Black American comedy actor who usually played frightened servants and chauffeurs in such films as King of the Zombies (1941), The Strange Case of Dr. RX (1942), A-Haunting We Will Go (1942) and Revenge of the Zombies (1943), including the recurring role of Birmingham Brown in the 1940s Charlie Chan series. He returned to the genre in 1965 with Jack Hill’s cult favorite Spider Baby.
