Majel Barrett <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>  Majel Barrett (b. February 23, 1932) is an American actor born in Columbus, Ohio. She is well known as nurse Christine Chapel on Star Trek and Lwaxana Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation. She has also voiced several roles in Star Trek, including that of the computer in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine . She was also the voice of the Caretaker in the Star Trek: Voyager premier episode "The Caretaker." Barrett has appeared in or lent her voice to all Star Trek series. She married Gene Roddenberry in 1969, and they had one child, Eugene W. Roddenberry, Jr.. External Links
