Lucio Fulci (June 17, 1927 – March 13, 1996) Italian film-maker who directed everything from comedies and musicals to westerns and psychological thrillers. Best known for the gory Zombie Flesh Eaters (1979), an unofficial “sequel” to George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978), he followed it with City of the Living Dead (1980), The Beyond (1981) and The House by the Cemetery (1982). He continued his proclivity for violence in such films as The Black Cat (1981), The New York Ripper (1982) and the self-indulgent Nightmare Concert (1990). Because of ill-health he was replaced during production on Zombi 3 (1988) by Bruno Mattei, and he died a few days before he was due to start directing Wax Mask (1996) for producer Dario Argento.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
