Literature

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Literature encompasses all written forms of the science fiction genre, including short fiction, anthologies, collections, novels, and plays.

For the purposes of the SCIFIPEDIA, the genre includes science fiction, fantasy, horror, dark fantasy, paranormal romance, alternate history, science fantasy, and an almost endless list of further sub-categories of writing of interest to readers of genre fiction.

Although much completely original material is published every year, an increasing component of written science fiction involves tie-ins to movies, television shows, games, comic books, and audio drama.
