Lionel Atwill (March 1, 1885 – April 22, 1946) has been referred to as "The maddest doctor of them all." British stage actor Atwill went to Hollywood in 1932, where he was usually cast as stocky villains, police inspectors or burgomasters in such films as The Vampire Bat (1933), The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942), Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943), House of Frankenstein (1944) and House of Dracula (1945). Known as “Pinky” by his associates, the actor liked to attend murder trials and drive around Hollywood in a bullet-riddled Rolls Royce. He was memorable as the mad sculptor in Mystery of the Wax Museum (1932), the one-armed Inspector Krogh in Son of Frankenstein (1939), and as Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1942). After denying accusations of showing pornographic movies and holding sex orgies at his home, the actor confessed and was sentenced to five years’ probation for perjury. Atwill was later absolved of his conviction, but his career never really recovered and he died three years later, leaving behind a young wife and a new son.

It's usually best to give a very general overview first, then specific details. When including the plot or essential details of a story in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
