Lily Tyler nee Moore is a fictional character on the TV series The 4400 played by Laura Allen in the first two seasons of the series and Tippi Hedren in season three. Lily was born August 4, 1966. She was abducted from Orlando Florida on May 26, 1993. Before her abduction, she was a wife and a new mother. She was returned to Highland Beach, Seattle Washington with 4,400 other abductees on July 11, 2004. On her return, Lily found her husband, Brian had remarried and her daughter Heidi, now eleven, had been raised to believe Brian’s new wife was her biological mother. HistoryAfter Lily's return she was placed in quarantine where she met Richard Tyler and the two experienced an immediate bond. Before his abduction, Richard was once in love with lily's grandmother, Lily Bonham, who looked just like her granddaughter. They shared their memories and experiences and became close friends. Lily was disappointed when her family did not come to find her after her release from quarantine. She soon discovered Brian had moved on with someone else and they were raising her daughter as their own. Lily tried to see Heidi but Brian warned her and took out a restraining order. Lily turned to Richard for support and the two grew even closer. Lily soon discovered she was pregnant even though she wasn't before her abduction. She also discovered she could communicate with her unborn child. She and Richard moved in together, planning to raise the baby as a couple. Richard was offered a security job working for Jordan Collier and the couple moved into Jordan's Arcadia Estates, a refuge for the 4,400. It wasn't long before they realized Jordan had alterior motives. Jordan developed a disturbing interest in the baby. He gained access to Lily's prenatal tests which indicated the baby carried the trait for sickle cell meaning the father was African American, most likely Richard. Lily and Richard left the 4,400 center and went on the run from Jordan and NTAC. Lily gave birth to a daughter, Isabelle and Richard took a job in a small town as a mechanic. While visiting a local book store, Lily ran afoul of religious zealots when she was seen looking at Jordan Collier's book, 4,400 and Counting. Isabelle reacted badly to their presence and revealed her vast power. The family tried to leave town but were chased by the zealots. Isabelle saved them when she used her powers, forcing them to kill themselves. Lily and Richard eventually returned to the 4,400 center after Jordan made it clear he had changed. She soon discovered Matthew Ross was performing tests on Isabel with Richard's acceptance. When 4,400 all over the world begin to grow ill, Richard, Lily, and Isabel, unaffected by the disease retreated to a 4,400 safe house. Lily disagreed with Richard's plan and quietly escaped the safe house with Isabel to a new place provided by her ex-husband Brian. Isabel planted several frightening visions in her mother's mind letting her know that leaving the safe house was not what she wanted. Lily returned to the safe house and the promicin found in Isabel's blood was used to save the 4,400. The family returned to The 4400 Center. Lily's daughter, Heidi, visited her at the 4,400 center hoping to develop a relationship with her mother. Lily invited her to visit her sister Isabelle. Lily later learned that Heidi suffered a mysteriously ruptured spleen and had to undergo surgery. Lily and Richard suspected Isabelle may have been responsible. Not long after, Lily went in to check on Isabel only to find her missing. Lily soon passed out. When she awoke she found Richard no longer recognized her and discovered she had aged significantly and was now an elderly woman. Lily also learned that Isabelle had aged as well, becoming a beautiful young woman. They learned Lily's aging was directly related to Isabelle's and if Lily was to survive, Isabelle would have to die. Lily refused to consider that possibility. Lily's condition deteriorated despite Shawn's help. She eventually realized that she must face death and she and Richard returned to the Cabin where they once lived where Lily shortly passed away.
