Lights Out began in 1934 as radio show that featured horrifying Sci Fi stories. The series later made its way to television in 1949 as an anthology series produced by Fred Coe.

Popular Culture

  • Bill Cosby recorded a routine on listening to the Chicken Heart episode as a child. Many Cosby fans did not realize it was a real story line from Lights Out
