Leonard Nimoy

Leonard Simon Nimoy (b. March 26, 1931) is an American actor, director, author, poet and photographer born in Boston, Massachusetts. He is best known for playing the half-Vulcan, Spock on Star Trek.

Fans of the paranormal also associate him with the original In Search Of... series (and his introduction to some of the books), as well as Ancient Mysteries.

Invented the "Vulcan salute" which is based on a gesture that Rabbis make during ceremonies.

Mostly retired from acting, Nimoy is an accomplished photographer specializing in black and white images
