Lena Headey (b. October 3, 1973, Bermuda) is an British stage and film actress who may be remembered by genre fans for her appearances in The Brothers Grimm and The 300 as the Queen Gorgo of Sparta.
Headey grew up in Bermuda with her father, a police office before moving back to England with her parents at five and settling in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Headey caught the attention of a casting agent who requested she audition for the movie Waterland. She wn the role and made her debut. She augmented her natural skills with lessons in archery, horsemanship, and even boxing. Headey has appeared in the films The Remains of the Day, The Jungle Book, Devil's Advocate, Gossip, The Cave, Imagine Me & You and Ultra.
In 2007, she took on the role of Sarah Connor on the Fox series The Sarah Connor Chronicles documenting the life of the character from the Terminator sci-fi films. She is also slated to appear in the upcoming films St. Trinian's, The Broken, Six Bullets from Now and Vivaldi.
