Lemony Snicket is a pseudonym for author Daniel Handler. Handler uses the pseudonym for his series of children's books, A Series of Unfortunate Events . The series tells the stories of the difficult life of a trio of wealthy siblings recently orphaned. The novels were translated into a film narrated by Jude Law and starring Jim Carrey and others. Handler has also written other novel series under the same name.
The name "Lemony Snicket" came out of Handler's research for his first book, The Basic Eight.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
