Leah Cairns (born June 2, 1974 in North Vancouver) is a Canadian actress from Kamloops, British Columbia. Cairns intended a career in dance but her plans were derailed by a car accident when she was sixteen that resulted in a broken back. She was unable to join her dance team for international competition and instead took off for Costa Rica and spent eight years traveling the world, visiting thirty-six countries. While visiting and Indian ashram, she came across an improv class thereby beginning her interest in acting.

Cairns returned to Canada and began an acting career. She has appeared on the series Tru Calling, the horror film Thralls, and Deep Evil. In 2005, she starred in the Canadian series Godivas as Jenna. She followed up with roles on Saved, Supernatural, and 88 Minutes with Al Pacino. She currently also stars as the witty Emily Hollander in Kyle XY.
