Lawrence Dane (b. April 3, 1937), Masson, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian actor known for playing authority figures on film and in television. Dane grew up in Ottawa and took acting lessons to overcome shyness. He began professional work in the 1960s and made his television debut in 1963 making guest appearances on The Saint, The Fixers and The Forest Rangers. He made his first genre appearance on the series The Invaders in 1967.
