Lauren Reed is a fictional character portrayed by Melissa George on the series Alias. She first appeared in the series' third season playing the wife of Michael Vaughn. Lauren is the daughter of Senator George Reed and his wife Olivia. She worked as an National Security Council Liaison and met and married Vaughn during Sydney Bristow's two year absence. Sydney's return caused problems for Lauren and Vaughn's marriage as he and Sydney were involved before she went missing.

Though Lauren appeared threatened by Sydney's return and concerned for her marriage, she was later revealed to be an agent for the criminal organization, The Covenant.
