Laura Allen <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>  Laura Allen is an American actress born on March 21, 1974 in Portland, Oregon. She grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington and attended Wellesley College where she majored in sociology. She worked with the NYPD as a domestic violence counselor before eventually pursuing acting as a career. She is the middle child of three girls, an older sister, Jenny and a younger sister, Lindsay. Allen is known for her work as Laura Kirk English on the soap opera All My Children. She has also starred in Sucker Free City and had roles in Mona Lisa Smile and How you Look to Me. She guest starred on Cold Case and North Shore before landing the role of Lily Tyler on the TV Series The 4400. She left the series in 2005 and won a starring role in the series Dirt as Julia Mallory. External Links
