Last Action Hero is a 1993 action film directed by John McTiernan. Austin O'Brien stars as Danny Madigan, a young movie fan whose greatest hero is the film character Jack Slater (Arnold Schwarzenegger). When projectionist, Nick (Robert Prosky) gives Danny a magical ticket to the laatest Jack Slater film, he is transported into the movie. When one of Slater's enemies, hitman, Benedict (Charles Dance) gains posession of the ticket, he's brought to life in the real world where the good guys don't always win. Bendict realizes that if he can kill actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Slater will cease to exist. Slater and Danny team up in the real world to stop him.
