Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life is a 2003 film based on the Tomb Raider video game series. It was preceded by the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Both films star Angelina Jolie in the title role.

Plot

Archaeologist, Lara Croft discovers an orb that leads to Pandora's Box. When the orb falls into the hands of evil scientist Jonathan Reiss (Ciarán Hinds) who hopes to use the box to create a deadly viral weapon, Lara turns to Terry Sheridan (Gerard Butler) for help to stop Reiss and retrieve the orb.
