Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is the first film based on the Tomb Raider video game series. Angelina Jolie took on the character in the big budget action flick, starring alongside father, Jon Voight. Director Simon West is responsible for adapting the game for the screen while the story was provided by Sarah B. Cooper, Mike Werb
and Michael Colleary.

Plot

The secret order known as the Illuminati seeks out a key that will join two halves of "the triangle" which must be done during the final phase of the planetary allignment, an event that happens only once every 5,000 years. The artifact and event will give its possessor the power to control time. Lara Croft discovers the key in the walls of her mansion but it is soon stolen by the Illuminati. Lara must retrieve it to prevent the society from completing their goals.
