Lani John Tupu

Lani John Tupu (b. November 4, 1955 in Auckland, New Zealand) is an actor and voice artist best known for his portrayal of Captain Bialar Crais on the series Farscape. Tupu also provided voice for the character of Pilot.

Tupu studied to become a teacher at the Teacher's Training College in Wellington but chose to focus on acting. He became well known in New Zealand in the role of Dr. miller on the soap opera Country GP. Following the end of his run on the series, he moved to Australia and appeared on several Australian TV series including the time travel series Time Trax and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World. His film roles include the 1989 film, The Punisher and Mission: Impossible.
