Lady in the Water is a 2006 fantasy mystery from writer and director M. Night Shyamalan. Shyamalan also produced alongside Sam Mercer and Jose L. Rodriguez. He also appeared in the film which and starred Paul Giamatti as Celveland Heep. Lady in the Water opened in US theaters on July 20, 2006.

Plot

Paul Giamatti stars as an apartment building superintendent who rescues a young woman from the building's pool and discovers she is a character from a bedtime story trying to return home. He tries to engage the aid of his tenants to help protect her from a mysterious creature trying to prevent her return.
