Ladon Radim was a soldier in the Genii military under the command of Commander Acastus Kolya. Ladon was a member of Kolya's strike force sent to take over the city of Atlantis. He was responsible for guiding the Genii soldiers through the unfamiliar city using the city's computers. Ladon was one of the few to ultimately survive the attack as Sheppard managed to dispatch of most of the Genii forces.

Following those events, Ladon led a coup on his planet to overthrow Genii leader, Cowen and taking command of the Genii. He involved the Atlantis expedition in his plot by kidnapping Major Lorne's team and offered to trade a Zero Point Module for guns, grenades, and C4, to arm his coup d'etat against the Genii government. Ladon led the Atlantis team into a trap he had coordinated with Cowen. After managing to trap Shepard's team as well, Cowen offered to trade them for puddle jumpers.

Dr. Elizabeth Weir attempted to negotiate with Cowen, offering to cure the Genii who had been exposed to radiation from Genii nuclear experiments. Cowen declined but Ladon had plans of his own and released Shepard and his team before setting off a nuclear device inside the Genii base, killing Cowen and his men. He and his men escaped to Atlantis where Ladon reunited with his sister and established a more peaceful relationship with Atlantis.

Cowen's leadership did not go unchallenged however. Commander Acastus Kolya imprisoned and tortured Sheppard hoping to force Dr. Weir to turn over Ladon to him. Dr. Weir refused and Ladon attempted to help them find Sheppard's location.
