Lacey Nicole Chabert (b. September 30, 1982, Purvis, Mississippi) is an American actor and voice artist who gained popularity in the role of Claudia Salinger alongside Matthew Fox and Jennifer Love Hewitt in the FOX series Party of Five. Chabert started out as a local music and drama performer in Mississippi before becoming a Star Search finalist. After landing roles in commercials, she auditioned for Broadway and landed a role in the musical Les Miserables in which she played Cosette for two years. Among her notable film roles are Lost in Space as Penny Robinson, Tart, alongside Brad Renfro and Domique Swain, Daddy Day Care, with Eddie Murphy, Mean Girls alongside Rachel McAdams , the horror film Black Christmas and In My Sleep.
Chabert's voice has appeared in a number of animated series. In 2008, she will voice the role of Gwen Stacy in The Spectacular Spider-Man. Other voice roles include Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles, Babes in Toyland, Anastasia, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Disney's Hercules, The Wild Thornberrys, and Bratz.
