Kristin Kreuk is a Canadian actress born on December 30, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to a Dutch father and Chinese mother. She is best known in the role of Lana Lang on the TV series Smallville.
She first appeared in the series Edgemont as Laurel Young. While shooting the series, she auditioned and landed the role of Lana on Smallville. Both shows were shot at the same time in Vancouver. She also took on the role of Snow White in a TV movie version of the fairy tale Snow White (2001). In 2002 she became a spokesperson for Neutrogena and appeared in several ads for their products.
In 2004 she starred as Tenar in the SCI FI Channel fantasy miniseries, Earthsea. While Edgemont ended in 2005, Smallville is now in its sixth season and Kreuk continues her role as Lana Lang.
