Kristanna Loken (b.October 8, 1979) is an American actress and former model born in Ghent, New York to Rande Porath and Chris Loken. She is of Norwegian descent and was raised on an apple farm in upstate New York with older sister Tanya. Loken studied dance as a child and began modeling at 15.
Career
Loken began her acting career on the soap opera As The World Turns. She guest starred on several series including Aliens in the Family, Unhappily Ever After, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and Star Trek: Voyager. She won a recurring role on Pensacola Wings of Gold and had a guest role on Sliders. In 1998 she became a series regular on Mortal Kombat: Conquest. The series was short-lived lasting only one full season. She followed up with guest roles on Pacific Blue and Philly.
Loken has lent her voice to the 2003 video game Battlestar Galactica as Lethe Iphigenia. Also in 2003 she landed her breakout role in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines as the evil robot TX. She followed up with the fantasy films Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King also known as Ring of the Nibelungs and BloodRayne. She has also guest starred on The L Word.
Recent roles include Zepher Genesee in Time Salted Love, Elora in In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale the title role in the Sci Fi Channel series Painkiller Jane.
