History
The ship was given to Russia under pressure from the Russia government to comply with the terms of agreement that allow Stargate Command to use the Russian Stargate. At first the Russians wanted to end the agreement because they did not get one bit of technology from the USAF. Soon Daniel Jackson was able to save the day and keep the agreement going.
Missions
The Korolev's first mission was also its last mission.
The Korolev was instructed to pick up Daniel Jackson and Cameron Mitchell from Camelot where they searched for Merlin's anti-Ori weapon, but didn't find it. They soon were beamed onto the bridge of the Korolev.
The Korolev joined the Odyssey and several allied ships at the site of the Ori's Supergate just as four warships arrived. One of the Ori warships broadcasted a text message to which Daniel replied by reciting a passage from The Book of Origin. There was no response and the Ori ships powered up their weapons. The Korolev was damaged quickly in the battle and lost power, effectively rendering the ship defenseless. After a few more hits the ship was destroyed, but not before Daniel Jackson ringed aboard an Ori Ship and Mitchell flew away in an F-302.
