Klaus Kinski (Klaus-Günther Nakszynski) (October 18, 1926 – November 23, 1991) Polish-born actor who detested his career, which alternated between art films (notably with German director Werner Herzog) and exploitation trash. He portrayed a manic Renfield opposite Christopher Lee’s Count in Jesús Franco’s Count Dracula (1970), before graduating to the vampire himself in Nosferatu the Vampyre (1978) and Vampire in Venice (1988).
