Kheb

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Kheb is a fictional planet on the series Stargate SG-1. The planet is legendary among Jaffa and feared by the Goa'uld System Lords. It is believed, by many Jaffa, to be the place where the soul rests in the afterlife. In Earth mythology, Kheb is the place where Osiris hid from Seth.

Spoiler Warning: Plot details and/or information about the ending follow. If you wish to enjoy the work first, stop reading here and return at another time.

Clearly the hiding place proved unsuccessful as Seth eventually caught and imprisoned Osiris in a canopic jar.

The beautiful forest covered region of the planet where the Stargate is located is home to a Buddhist-like temple. It is the only known structure on the planet, a short distance from the gate. The temple was overseen by a single monk who attempted to open Daniel Jackson's mind to new possibilities and a belief in Oma Desala, an ascended being who also lived on the planet and took the Harcesis child, Shifu under her protection.
