Kevin Yagher (b. June 23, 1962) American special effects make-up artist and director. Responsible for engineering and creating the Crypt Keeper wraparounds on HBO’s Tales from the Crypt TV series (1989-96), he made his feature début under the credit “Alan Smithee” on the troubled Hellraiser IV Bloodline (1996). Other films he’s worked on include Child’s Play (1988), 976-EVIL (1989), The Phantom of the Opera (1989), Child’s Play 2 (1990), Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991), Child’s Play 3 (1991), Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992), Rumpelstiltskin (1994), Tales from the Crypt: Demon Night (1995), Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde (1995), The Dentist (1996) and Bride of Chucky (1998), amongst many others.
