Kerry Washington (b. January 31, 1977, Bronx, New York) is an American actress known for her appearances in the Fantastic Four films. Washington graduated from the Spence School in New York City and attended George Washington University where she studied theatre.
Her breakout role came in Save the Last Dance which starred Julia Stiles and Sean Patrick Thomas. She has since appeared in more high profile roles such as Bad Company with Anthony Hopkins, The Human Stain with Hopkins and Nicole Kidman, Ray as Della Bea Robbins opposite Jaime Fox, Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, The Last King of Scotland with Forest Whitaker and I Think I Love My Wife with Chris Rock. Washington won a Razzie award for "Worst Couple" for her role with Marlon and Shawn Wayans in Little Man.
In 2008, Washington appears in Life is Hot in Cracktown, Lakeview Terrace and Bury Me Standing.
