Ken Watanabe (October 21, 1959 Niigata, Japan - ) is a Japanese actor.
Well-respected both in Japan and around the world, Watanabe is best known to American genre fans for his portrayal of Batman's enemy, Ra's al Ghul, in Batman Begins. He won acclaim and the notice of American audience playing opposite Tom Cruise in the war drama, The Last Samurai. Watanabe also starred in Clint Eastwood's acclaimed Letters From Iwo Jima
