Karen Allen (b. October 5, 1951, Carrolton, Illinois) is an American actress. Allen may be remembered by Indiana Jones fans for her role as Marion Ravenwood in Raiders of the Lost Ark. She reprises her role in the 2007 film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Allen made her film debut in the comedy classic, Animal House. She went on to star in the scifi classic Starman. Allen's other notable genre work includes Terminus, and Scrooged. Other notable films include Malcolm X, The Sandlot, and In the Bedroom.
