Kage Baker

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

American writer Kage Baker began publishing her signature Company series about the lives and loves of immortal time-travelling cyborgs who struggle under the thrall of Dr. Zeus Incorporated in 1997. Baker often populates her award-winning work with historical settings and idiomatic dialogue. The series has been described as a Posthuman Comedy, which refers to the overall positive direction of the series, and not particularly to its humorous elements, although humor is certainly and deftly used.

According to her online bio, she was born June 10, 1952, in Hollywood, California and now lives in Pismo Beach.
