Justin Hartley (b. January 29, 1977) is an American actor born in Knoxville, Illinois. He became well known in his portrayal of Fox Crane on the NBC soap, Passions. He grew up in Orland Park, Illinois and is the second of four children. He graduated from Carl Sandburg High School and went on to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago where he majored in theater and history.
Career
Hartley appeared in several commercials before landing a role on Passions. He appeared on the series for three years but when his contract ended he decided not to renew. Following Passions he was slated to appear in the original series Mercy Reef in the starring role of Arthur C. Curry aka. Aquaman. The CW did not pick up the pilot but it was released on iTunes. In 2006, Hartley joined the cast of Smallville as Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow.
Upcoming film roles include Spring Breakdown, Race You to the Bottom and Scorpio Men on Prozac.
Personal Life
Hartley married Passions co-star Lindsay Korman on May 1, 2004 and they have a daughter Isabella Justice Hartley (b. July 3, 2004). Hartley has an older brother, Nathan and two younger sisters Megan and Gabriella.
