Just Like Heaven <span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>
Just Like Heaven is a 2005 romantic fantasy film based on the Marc Levy novel If Only It Were True. The film stars Reese Witherspoon as a much adored doctor, Elizabeth Masterson, who suffers a tragic accident that appears to have resulted in her death. Her San Francisco apartment is leased by a grieving landscaper, David Abbott (Mark Ruffalo), who moves in much to Elizabeth's disappointment as she insists the place is hers. She soon realizes he is the only one who can see her which is problematic given their antagonistic relationship. While David tries to rid himself of his personal ghost, Elizabeth struggles to remember who she was and what has happened to her and discovers she may not be dead after all.
